REMEMBER TO SAVE THE DATE AND JOIN US!! 3RD ANNUAL VOLUNTEER AWARDS DINNER-DANCE GALA CELEBRATION MARCH 1, 2008 at the Sonoma Mountain Village Event Center SONOMA COUNTY ADULT & YOUTH DEVELOPMENT (SCAYD) is a Non-Profit Family Resource Center based in the Sonoma County Communities of Rohnert Park and Cotati. Dedicated to our mission to "Help All People In The Community Reach Their Highest Potential", SCAYD's Board of Directors and Staff provide a wide variety of counseling services (both in the schools and at our facilities), family advocacy (including Padres Unidos), abuse prevention, teen employment services, and homeless prevention (via our emergency rental assistance program), all with a focus upon the teens of our community and their families.
We at SCAYD believe: Children are the most important asset for the future of our community. Children, as all people, must be given every opportunity to reach their highest potential. Services should be accessible to any child or family member needing assistance. No family needing help will be turned away because they do not have the funds available to pay for the services. Our family resource center is a guiding force within the community for the development of youth and assistance for families. As a community based service organization, SCAYD collaborates with other agencies and the community at large to provide services and resources to assist all people in our community.
